I have had my watch (599 of 1701) for a couple of months and have had no problems with it what so ever. I have read all the reviews on Amazon and I do agree with everyone who has a problem about the numbers on the black bezel. I do not know why Armitron would take the time to put them there when you cannot even see them. After you wear it for some time you don’t even know they are there. Other than that I have no cons to report. My watch keeps great time. Sure it might lose a little time if not worn every day but most automatic watches loose time if you don’t wear them all the time. Now for the guy who says his stops and needs to be shaken alot to get it started, I’m thinking there is more of a problem there if he needs to shake it all the time. Most watch people will tell you, you can wind your watch with the crown to put power to the main spring, (10-20 winds should get it going. ) I purchased my watch from a retailer not on Amazon for about $20 less and was able to ask for a specific number watch. I didn’t have the packaging problem like the others have reported and my watch had all the plastic coverings so I knew it was new and never worn. I would recomend this watch if you are a TREKKIE but look around on the web, Amazon isn’t the only place you can find this watch.

I have had his watch a month or so now And I have worn it close to every day. I do like it but there are a few concerns of mine that anyone looking to buy this watch needs to know.
Pros: The biggest pro is of course the fact that it’s a high quality watch and that its star trek! also it will last a while because of how it’s made. The window in the back looks cool. And you can get past the weight, it is very comfortable.
Cons: during the first week or so while the winding is getting onto a routine the watch will stop 2 or 3 times although not common in an automatic watch this is not a problem. I dose stop as well when you adjust the time. when this happens just like any other auto watch it just takes a bit of shaking to get it going again [being that this watch ticks at 4 ticks/ second it's more like a lot of shaking]. Probably the biggest Con of this watch is that is gains time as you have it on throughout the day. This watch gains about 1. 5 min per day forcing you to change the time every day or two. Then shake it to get it going again which can become a hassle. Also the links in the band are a bit big and I am unsure whether Armitrom makes a half size link. My final con is that the display case it came in was cracked but if u plan to use it every day like I do that really won’t matter.
I am a huge trekkie so this was the perfect watch for me. Overall this is a nice watch but the upkeep on it is a bit strenuous for the quality. Make your own dissention.

I bought this watch for while in a theme of Star Trek fans think that would only note that the design is a logo of Star Trek Federation. The design is very nice and makes for a slightly casual luxury watch. Until I read the reviews, I never noticed that the picture on Amazon shows chromium number of seconds, while mine is black. Honestly I like the look of a solid outer ring black best.

Bottom line, I wear the watch frequently and knowing what I know now I would definitely buy again.

As others have to say the numbers of according to pointer approximately the black circle on the ace are not chromates, like I am in photo but not me dispiace. è mines come in a generic support Armitron plastic white man who broken and was manifactured in a box it of cardboard without protection on the window of the box it so that the è clock be melted when l' I have received. They are disappointed I have not received the support in the photo (è image be now removed) and the certificate that mentioned è. However, l' è clock much beautiful one and I have taken two connections from it to the dimension gi
I just got my today and the number of second indicator around the black circle on the face are not chrome, as are the image. I do not think that looks bad that way, but the numbers are harder to read. I see some people have said their numbers were chrome, but a number of other persons were not. Also, mine came in a generic box on a plastic support Armitron watch Batman, with no indication of Star Trek or the serial number of the guard, even though the back of the watch does not say that is number 706 in 1701. While disappointed in the box details, the second indicator, I still like the watch and intend to keep it, is thin enough that people might not even notice it is a watch Star Trek, especially if they are not fans. I waited until the price dropped to $ 112, which seems right, although I really wish the packaging was not so strange. But I figure a reference, and that the initial case was broken when sent to the first purchaser. Perhaps this was also the reviewer see the other numbers without the chrome, if he is back. I see now the price is $ 200 and there is a warning about problems with the object. Can I complain to Amazon without a full return? I would keep it, but wonder if I can send the correct package, or even replacing it with chrome numbers. In the end I really dig and probably just go on and wear it.
