If I new then what I know now, I would have bought the Canon for twice the price. The Sigma sounds great but is not reliable. It is not 100% compatable. Error signs for no reason! The instruction manual is ridiculous (very very brief). Even my Flash Photo instructor could not figure it out. At least Canon has a book! If you are hurting for cash and need a flash this may be a reasonable purchase. It does have tons of options. To be fair, I have not tried the Canon Flash. Who knows, it may have problems too.

This item was $ 360 last week and now at 420?. it seems that Amazon is knocking prices on all items in my cart and hardware including books, Amazon wants the highest profit margin in a bad economy.

I’m sure will be more convenient to Somewhere, I am avoiding Amazon for sure.

I do not know who sells this for $ 700, as Amazon says the original value, but many retail stores and none to above $ 420. I find better deals on new egg. com or at cost with tax and shipping.

If you notice, Amazon is the first prize in an increase of 25% on many items and then drop over the next few days cents to give you a feeling that ‘went down’?

I use this as the main flash with a 430EX II as a slave, to shoot my paintings. New camera, new flashes, so far in this short period of time I’m satisfied with the preformance.
