Fotodiox dedicated (bayonet) lens hood, for USM Canon EF-S 18-55mm f / 3. 5-5. 6 I, II, IS, 28-80mm f / 3. 5-5. 6 II USM II, III, IV, V, and 28-90mm f / 4. 0-5. 6 lenses as Canon EW-60C that I bought the lens hood to help reduce sun spots like hoods should do. This product does not do its job. If you stretched out more? forward might be, but my experience? was negative. Perhaps the real product Canon extends further, but uncertain. With regard to the application? easy to apply and use just does not help against the sun. If anything will help? to protect your objective in a fall. :)

? exactly there? that you see that?, and for those of you l? out who just bought a new camera and are looking for a hood for your 18-55mm lens kit supplied this? we see fit. The quality? ? fine and works well, without a shadow on the 18-55.

This hood from Fotodiox? the perfect addition to the fully accessible Lens Kit! Instead of paying 10% of the price of the same target for an inch of plastic, you pay about $ 6 dollars (at the time of review), almost as a replacement? identical.

The only problem with this hood is not? a defect of the hood, but the lens. Since? the goal? a rotating front element, the hood can not? be shaped petal, and as Dpreview has reviewed,? a ‘hood near-useless “. E ‘cos? short that has almost no effect on certain angles of light. Again, this does not? blame Fotodiox version, you will have the same problem with a Canon for 4 times the price.

ago to protect the lens for?, and for this reason alone, worth the price, and it will be? good for those situations where it can? contribute ideas on your photos.

I recommend buying this hood Fotodiox if you have the kit EF-S18-55 (any version).

I am very impressed with this hood. It ’s a very reasonable price and it works perfectly. It ‘easy to take still firmly in place without problems. I bought a hood for my 70-300 lens and it works fine, but requires a little ‘more pressure? than I’d like to do lock in place. This requires a little effort, but it still feels as if it were firmly in the other nice thing about this shade? what? cos? small that the hood can? remain on the lens and still fit into my camera bag (a Lowepro Slingshot 100) without a problem.

Do not bother to buy the official Canon lens hood, plastic? plastic, and it works great and holds more? money in your pocket.

He achieved this goal for the kit T2i. I can not say I noticed a difference in my photos I like yet, but the quality? and the extent of my goal. Do not be fooled by the pack when it comes, has “Canon” in large letters and then “for” written very small. . . haha. . . very sneeky! I just got a bargain for a minute! In any event,? a good deal for the money. We’ll see if the benefit photos. If anything it will be? protect the edge of the lens from damage.
