3G does not work with T-Mobile network! So that leaves only one major network – AT and T.

How different is this from a brand AT & T phone, then?

This phone looks great and the system works well but the touch screen is horrible. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I try to use for a couple of days and I am really annoyed using it. The phone feels cheap and the “release button is in a very uncomfortable and every time you want to unblock it you scroll down, for the way you feel very convenient. For the price I think this phone is worth it.

I bought this phone from Amazon, and it worked fine when he arrived. However, off the next morning and not start again. All numbers are provided with Nokia (1) permanently occupied or (2) all around you asking 10 questions without annoying staff understand your problem, and then hanging up the phone. Please DO NOT buy a product from Nokia in the United States.

I just bought a new Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition.

I lost my Motorola Razer simple, and needed a new phone. According to my needs, I liked the following:

    1. Mobile
    2. Unlocked
    3. Four Band international use
    4. E-mail
    5. MP3
    6. GPS

The 5800 includes all these features, but I had no idea what I got myself into, buying this model. I used to equate with Nokia quality and simplicity. Made in China, this has got to be the most awkward phone did. The limited user guide reads as if translated from another language, and provides only minimal support. The user registration Nokia has allowed me to look for their website. I managed to download a manual broader. Both manuals refer to some selections in “options” that are not present in 5800.

The issue of navigation has a cradle CR-103 phone, in four parts, with two screws, and instructions on how to put the pieces together. An hour on the Nokia website and speaks only of CR-103. I sent an email asking for instructions, waiting time more.

With the lack of a decent user manual owner is left to intuition. This will not help much here either. The desktop phone is extremely misleading. Clicking on a compass icon should allow me to access the GPS functionality right? From there you should be able to see my position on a map, enter an address to navigate? Wrong. After a couple of hours with it, and reading the full user guide, I find you have to click on the “Accessories, followed by a click on the icon” position, followed by a click at the top right of the screen to see the choices.

No insight to help you make your first call. A quick reading of the user guide that shows what the icon to select, it brings up a screen that looks like a block of telephone, and from there you can make a simple phone call.
< br /> There’s a wizard to help you configure email e-mail. Following the wizard I was able to enter all relevant data. The email first test came back with a message does not specify which indicated my setup did not work, but no additional information on why. Nothing in the guide to help users. This requires a one-hour trip to my place of employment provider, wait in line, and some teak there to help understand. He had to delete email settings and start again.

There was enough time in three days I had to try to upload MP3 music or photos. < , br />
On the good side there is a website for users to join Nokia. Once the 5800 is working, you can register on www. Ovi. com, and use other features there to make contacts and schedules, upload photos and mp3, and so on.

In brief, my need for mobile telephony in the way of doing research I should have done. I had to go to the office of service providers and in fact tried to use one of these, and then bought the unlocked model at Amazon. com.
