Can anyone tell me if this phone is a US original version phone or those fake ones from China? Because it stated make in China on the outside of the box.

Just bought from Amazon, and this phone made in china, but its genuine nokia. I just returned bcuz the paint on both corners on the back messed up.No wonder why its cheap.

If you have a Nokia 5800 or similar you should not consider upgrade to X6.The only upgrade from previous model is square corners with 5MP camera,capacitive screen and more storage and all for extra $350. Also, it is built very cheap(a lot of space around the screen to collect dust,low quality plastic for back cover,lower three buttons is one button not touch buttons).In rest same old.Good phone but could of been better considering that is not the first upgrade in its class.I was disappointed.Let’s wait for the next smart upgrade!

I like Nokia phones for good build quality and easy to use factors. My last one was Nokia E51, great phone, excellent build quality, made in Finland.
I bought Nokia X6 to upgrade my two years old E51, but unfortunately my expectations was not approved.
All aspects of this phone was great except the build quality and materials they used. Phone made in China.
Sorry Nokia, but I return it and bought Nexus One, which is great in and out. Now I am feel like I switch from windows 95 to windows 7.

as great as the phone is, if you own a honda/acura, BMW (and some subaru), please note that the Symbian OS version 9.4 MAY NOT work with your blue tooth system. it will pair, but you won’t be able to place calls unless you dial the number on the phone, then transfer to blue tooth hand free system.
the only Nokia that work with my vehicle is N900. so make sure to check it out before placing order.
hmm, also, this phone may not play Pandora (as for now).
