The sound is excellent and really by far the best bang for your buck. For 400, I was able to obtain wireless set up and 5 wall brackets. The Blu Ray is excellent, the video and audio quality is far better than the quality of the PS3 and thats saying a lot. After updating your system has access to Amazon Video, Netflix and Pandora that work really well. You need to upgrade though to get the latest functionality. Netflix HD looks great as well. The layout is just like the PS3 when it comes to choosing movies, you must have them in the queue, but this is not a big problem. video Amazon, lets you browse new releases as if you were on the web, which is cool.

The system also seems well enough to sync with my Toshiba Regza LCD, which is a nice touch, but can be annoying at times. The iPod adapter works really well. Easy to navigate through each of the functions of players. The remote is very simple. A button for each feature, such as iPod, blue ray, int Others

The sound is excellent. On a scale of 1-100 on the volume, I never go over 40 in strong and clear sound is at that level. We live in an apartment complex, so beyond the level of 50 really rumble the floor and causing a lot of problems with neighbors, but I did test the sound on 70, with the Blu-ray transformers, and there was no distortion at all. I am very satisfied with this product. Panasonic has really out done themselves. For all features and you get back, the quality of video on blue ray, you can not beat the price on that.

The Panasonic SC-B230 is a decent product that I have had this for about a week and it is a few steps. However, my actual vote for this would be a 3 1 / 2 but since I cannot seem to rate a half star here and the characteristics of the unit give the supplement for the rating to 4 stars. You have a nice Blu Ray player that is compatible, like the rest (DVD, CD etc) from the window to the Quick Guide to the User Manual, configure, and ‘easy and there are lots of patterns for those who are instructionally challenged (ie ” instructions? We do not need no education … I have a picture).

The configuration is simple and the input of the speaker wire is color coordinated. In fact, the input Speaker for the unit is color coordinated to prevent connecting the wrong slot diffuser wrong. You really have to try to connect back to the front and back. This is a more and less – in my view. Correction big idiot But the end is a cap that is specific to the unit so if you need extra wire to a large room or you plan on using a higher gauge wire, like a piano wire to cut and splice monster. After all is configured, there is an on-screen help for a quick setup to hold my hand through it. If you want to change some things that can easily be done through the menus. You can also startup sound for the sub and the rear tires from the menu. < , br />
When I opened the box and pulled out all of the speakers look and thought “There is no freakin way.” They are small. How small? The center speaker is the largest, not counting the sub is about an inch smaller than a 32 oz Powerade on its side. The sub is about long and wide as a shoebox and is about 3 cm top of this bottle Powerade. doubtful and hesitant, I connected them put Blu-ray version of Avatar. DAMN… I think there was a freakin way. The sound is impressive, full and rich with the right amount of bass. You may need to Tweek levels in your db like (see above) but the sound is great for those little suckers. It is a system of 1000 watts so if your planning of shaking and vibrating every window in the house is not going to do it. If you want a good home theater experience, this will make for a nice price. And not $ 1000 + system so do not expect it. It’s worth even if the value.

has the ability to connect to the network home via a network cable or a USB adapter (adapter sold separately (DY-WL10 $ 95 on Amazon), not sure if other USB adapter works I have not experienced that). I like this option you can access Instant Netflicks que se have an account with them. Several customizable weather, You Tube, Cast Vera, etc. The system has the capacity for the rear speakers of “wireless”. This is semi-true. You have to buy an additional piece of equipment (SH- FX71 wireless transmitter / receiver, about $ 95 on Amazon), the rear speakers plug-in to it so that, for lack of a better term “wireless cable?” The unit had the latest firmware on it out of the box and the iPod / iTouch / iPhone docking is impressive. When the iPod is the selected option is displayed on-screen menu choices and options, very smooth. As an added bonus you can also insert an SD card and displays the contents on the screen. Pretty cool. On top of this there is a built in FM radio that works well enough and you can have the system, just use the front speakers, or all, This is set in the options menu (see above )

But what are the cons – are what I call less important issues. Little things that mean much to me. The remote control. There is no option for the / Open Close on it. There are four buttons to control TV, power supply, input and volume up / down. A big problem.. missed a big problem. Unless its a Panasonic TV are useless and, as I can tell you cannot change that. The power button, volume up / down and the Open / Close buttons are on top of the unit. Personally I like else where. I accidentally turned on and off several times up. The equalizer has some default settings and all. You can not adjust to your liking or Tweek them. I am what I am.

In a nutshell you get an SD slot, USB port for wireless networks, a wired network port (LAN) an HDMI output, composite out, composite A left and right FM Port (small wire antenna included), 2 digital audio (optical) a. Weigh pros cons so you can see why I leaned to the 4 star is a good system for the price. Film, Xbox/360, etc. PS/2/3 sound great. You get what you pay but in this case I say you get a bit ‘more. I hope this helps you decide whether for or against. did not intend to be this long but I wanted to inform as possible.

After you set this drive I used for a couple of days and it worked a lot for the price. Then I got smart and went online and saw that there was a firmware upgrade. I installed the update and after about 30 minutes is over and everything seemed fine. Then I started to notice that in case the unit goes off while I was watching TV. There is nothing in the manual that addresses this problem. So if I call tech support. Good Luck. I have yet to find a phone number or e-mail to this question. I am happy with the unity of will, but I never upgraded.

I received this item about 4 days ago. I absolutely love the sound. Watched some Star Wars Episode III and the sound is incredible. Like being in the theater. However, one of the reasons I bought this is that the Panasonic website, it lists as having Pandora. This is not true, as of the time I’m writing this review. Panasonic I wrote about this and was told that there is still no exact date when Pandora will be online. Also, for those of you interested in twitter this is presumably. No Twitter either. Regarding the youtube is pretty cool. Netflix is a kind of lame, as you only get access to the queue immediately and without recommendations. We have a PS3 with Netflix and the Netflix service on what seems to be more advanced.

In addition, Panasonic’s website lists this model as having a 3. 5 mm jack to use your MP3 player. Not true. The back of the unit features a composite audio in which I was not upset because I have a converter but still. . .

Regarding the ARC, the ARC is required to carry out effectively supported TV sound from the TV to the unit via an HDMI cable (this is listed on the website of Panasonic). I did not realize that when I bought it so now I take an optical cable. Not a huge loss.

I can reset the unit on the basis of the above, but are so happy with the sound, however, that I’m taking.
    UPDATE

Not sure why I have not noticed this before, but there is no dedicated button for the subtitles on the remote. Furthermore, no headphone jack. To play a blue ray through headphones, you must disable the system and listening via our tv. />
