The problem with this model is that it has no tone control. It looks way too bright the unless you compensate with your amp, which can be a pain if you want to switch guitars. All PRS had to do was put in a stacked pot that controls both the tone and volume and the problem would be solved. Even a P90 pickup Gibson Les Paul Jr. has a flat tone. I sent my back. Save your money and get something with at least one or two pickup tone control.

Most guitars are loaded with two or three pickups and a bevy of knobs and tone controls, and it’s great. But this PRS is larger, at least for players like me who do not alter the sound that much because the studio we use other tools, and when we just need to jam one knob: volume. Hell, they could have gotten rid of even if you think about this. Who actually turns their power. Plus is a PRS – great construction and style, impeccable sound and action. I just wish it was black, but at this price, beggars can not choose.
