I hate glossy screen and the computer shiny. The N150 screen edge? glossy. There are many other netbooks the best? out. Samsung because I take? the screen? anti-reflection coating. However, the designer decided to add a siding finish. What was this designer thinking?? glossy screen gave me a headache after watching for a long period of time. I have to sand paper to the polished edge. If I settle glossy screen or the edge of reflection, I could have paid much less and got a much better computer.

Extremely slow with Windows 7, even when just surfing the Internet. I have not tried upgrading the memory yet, but I do not seem to be maxing the RAM.

Great product, even if Windows 7 Starter leaves something to be desired. Just what I needed, it will be? a great resource in my classroom. . . .

I did tons of research before settling on this netbook. He had a favorable price tag of less than 300 and seemed to have decent specifications. He also had a matte screen that? was very important to me. Battery life? sufficient, but depends on your brightness setting? monitor. The keyboard takes some ‘getting used to, if you’re used to those full-size, but after a couple of hours, you should have no problem typing on it efficiently.

The only things I can complain and are pre-loaded demo games, their operating system backup works only 1 time and without backlighting of the keyboard.

I was a bit ‘offended when I know that Windows 7 Starter would not let me change the background so? I went looking for a dual-boot. In short, I ended up ruining the preset recovery partition in gparted so? I decided to start over with Ubuntu Netbook Remix. Everything works with this Ubuntu netbook with the exception of keyboard shortcuts the brightness? (Fn + and Fn + Dn). There are workarounds for that, if you are the type of Linux for?.

All in all, no complaints and I see with this thing for a long time.

UPDATE: My microphone does not seem to work in Ubuntu (Karmic) either.

Purchased in June 2010 for $ 269 at Amazon, the Samsung N150? a handy little netbook. The only reason not to give it 5 stars? because of the RAM and the OS: it comes with 1 gig, but it requires 2 (update? easy and about $ 40), Starter and Windows 7? too limited. This machine? fast, quiet and very compact. On display? small, too, but? Light and easy to view. The 160gigs conservation are more? sufficient.

I did my N150 in a car to 5 stars, doubling the RAM ($ 41), updating the Win7 Starter ($ 52), and buy a Samsung external DVD reader / writer ($ 48). But beware: these updates increase the price of the car, about 50 percent, from $ 269 to $ 410.
