Worst monitor I have ever owned.

Not ready for prime time as a computer monitor, the text unreadable, even after calibration.

Dvi ? was a no go from the start, HDMI and VGA unreadable text regardless of font size and resolution.

Perhaps it is good on a TV that I do not know, but it suffers much trying to use this as a computer monitor.

? mistaken for a EA231wmi NEC, now what? a monitor.

own several other Samsung monitor, 23 inch, 20 inch and are sharp and smooth.

I can not say if this monitor was faulty, or simply for use as a computer monitor.

Samsung seems to have stopped making EFORT in their products. I have this monitor now. looks wonderful and the color? surprising. has serious problems of detection input from any device. their customer service department doesn’t take me seriously when I talk with them.

This? The second problem I had with this manufacturor. I had a 19-inch one to three years ago and the warrinty? a standord 3 years. the monitor just died at 3 years and 4 days. Seriously! The repair department told me to send it back to them and would fix it for free. They took me by mail and informend warrinty that was out (which I told them it was) and it would cost me $ 120 to fix the problem. Then, to add insult to injury cannot try to have it fixed in another way without paying them to send back.

I decided to go with Toshiba from now on. their products are more? and more difficult to find? expencive, but I had nothing but good experiances with all their products and customer service.

I read the reviews and hoped that this would “work” as a monitor as well. . . My Sharp LCD TV / Monitor was dying – Wide Screen display SD and worked OK as a monitor – also had PIP, cos? I could surf and watch TV in a window – Nice. I did not find this feature in LCD TV under 46 “because, sadly. Sharp text appears fuzzy, but it was old technology. A 1080p TV / monitor does not solve the problem. So, beware, this could be a great TV, but not? a monitor acceptable. Buy a 24 “monitor and a TV tuner, if you’re thinking what I was. . . I took a 15% success on my return open box – It ’s hurt. . . Do not make the same mistake.

I connected with both HDMI and DVI, and found the experience very pleasant. The remote control? convenient and the built-in TV Tuner? was one of the main features I was interested in. With this set of functionality? (HDMI, 1080/1920×1200 resolution, TV tuner, etc.) I feel this? the best option out there today.

If you do not need / want a TV tuner, then there are many other excellent contenders like the glorious high-end Dell LCD monitor.

Also, I had a bit ‘of trouble configuring the color on the monitor.

Bought this tv a few days ago, my 40 inch Samsung tv 4 3 1 52 inches. This tv? a real disappointment, the sound just stinks you have to add external speakers. The image? good if its HD channel and looks straight ahead, 3 meters on each side and the picture? gray and washed out. Watching a HD channel? like watching a 20yr old tube tv. This? a computer monitor and should not be sold as a television. I’m recovering at Price Club I paid $ 319 for it.
