Are probably among the last of some “Luddites”, because I did not change the TV out from the 1990s. Finally my old CRT TV, a faithful Zenith, bit the dust. But even though I was a hold-out does not mean that I have not kept pace with technology. I’d like to think I have. After examining the LCD back-lit LED and plasma. From a consumer point of view, despite all their high points, dropped in favor of plasma over LCD types. Why? In short viewing angle. It ‘really came down to this. The mere fact that the viewing angle is bad off with the types of LCDs made me balk.
So, after deciding the Plasma I then proceeded to consider so. I must say that the Panny’s (Panasonics) had sold me. In fact I almost bit ‘until I started reading about black levels receding (the V series has been my focus) after X number of hours (Panasonic is reading this?). And apparently pulling a Toyota are looking to play the bass and / or ignore the concerns of consumers about. (Panasonic is reading this?) They lost a sale because of it.
But even if I did lose Panny was not completely sold on the Samsung. Screen and border too bright (I know, I know …. not the most technical revisions, but my reaction is what it is). . . . and then there was that persistent hum “thang” backed by some consumers. This was more worrying. However, one night a couple of weeks ago I was walking through a store and was fortunate to find a new line of Samsung C-2010 series. In a word, Nice. Great eye-candy. A little ‘research I waved. I chose the PN58C7000.
I then came to Amazon because the price points were the best. And to be honest, no state tax. Heh! In any case, the TV arrived and was beeaauuuutifullllll. And the screen was broken. : P! The shipping company has got right back, I called Amazon and one week after the number 2 has arrived. This time it was perfect. At the time of writing this was last Wednesday. I just started playing with him but so far I must say I have no complaints. The image is perfect, I connected to a PS3 game / blu-ray station and also linked to my wireless LAN internet connection. The point of view, if such can be considered the right word for watching TV, can be almost disconcerting. Councils. . . Coraline watch Blu-ray on it.
However, I’m playing with the settings and widgets now, and have not yet formulated a detailed opinion. . . . . I’ll come back and add details as I get my new toy to use. I will say this. I can not browse my Godson almost six years away from it. I tied his Wii to it along with my PS3 and the guy basically in love. . . . . from his point of view, the screen is like watching a marvelous picture window with full-sized Wii games beautifully disorienting in their visibility and play. It ‘a laugh watching him almost fall into the TV during the game. . . . he is in fact part of a generation of video.
later. . . .

Well after usual Amazon service and delivery I could not wait to connect the 3D Samsung Blu-ray for the new 3D plasma TV Samsung PN58C7000.
And I have not been disappointed. The fact that Monsters vs. Aliens 3D was understandably be, it was created just for this. But the 1966 2001 A Space Odyssey on Blu-ray was equally impressive with the depth of Nice. The pen in the sequence of line space floating in front of the screen. Entry into the dock space was also made with depth, making the film a bit ‘more fun than the 3D off.
I suspect we will all look more 3D. I am glad that I waited and paid the small price difference.
I will help someone else with the decision on black filter that is the difference between the C7000 and C8000.

And when we have something around 85 “Samsung?
