PN63B550 ordered the Samsung from Amazon and was damaged when delivered by CEVA and returned to Amazon. The replacement has arrived and the entire panel was destroyed, CEVA delivered again.

Called Amazon customer service and was told that they can not get this TV for another one -2 months. A full refund was made and I was told also that will take several weeks. Incredible.

I am very disappointed in shipping from Amazon and CEVA. I recommend not buying a TV from Amazon. Their policies for shipping (without air freight, truck only) and refund policies are terrible.

If you’re planning to buy a nice TV, buy from a local dealer and honorable and not Amazon. Think twice before offered in Amazon touts, it is sometimes too good to be true.

I received this television with high expectations, but 10 minutes of viewing, I decided to go through the pain to return the product to large.

I have 2 other Samsung TV, and was particularly impressed with their A650 Series LCD TV (LN46A650). I expected the same kind of vibrancy in this B550, but unfortunately, this does not even begin.

The brightness level is all spent, and the color bleeds across the screen. After some tweaking, I have concluded that the problem is more fundamental. Basically it is something that can not be adjusted through the user interface. Pulp color seems dead on the screen, and the HD signal does not help.

Maybe they cut the cost this year too. Maybe 550 series was never intended to complete the A650 series. I’m willing to give it another try with the A650 series of plasma from 2008, as B550 is the only item for 2009 so far.

I just hope I do not have to go through too much trouble to return the TV. I also hope that Samsung gets their act together and put out better product in the category of large.

Ordered model A650 3-4 weeks ago. They had the best price and I was excited. A couple of weeks into it, and many conflicting answers from them, I canceled the order.

Got a call offering me back B550 new model for $ 400 less specific and better. After a quick search I decided to give them another shot. Again, this stock, but not close. Well after a week I call them to cancel my order and I am told that the TV to the sender, this is Friday 3. Last Sunday, the magazine calls and lets me know that TV will be here next week.

Got it today, works fine. Called Samsung and recorded TV as I was worried too. But they had my address so BF should have done something.

All in all, quite an experiance, but nice to save almost $ 1000.

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
