These toys are cool, but because you pay for free information. If you buy this brand, you pay to download a course. Golf Guru (base) is still free – I’m sending this back.

Initially I purchased the GPS Callway UPRO thinking it was a good deal, because you do not have to purchase a subscription. Then I realized that I had to buy $ 150 worth of credits for courses up to a reasonable rate. That is 5 years worth of subscription state or 3 years worth at national level. Considering the fragile feel of the Callaway did not think it would last so long. I played two rounds with callway and immediately noticed that the yardages were off about 5 meters. I thought that the markers could be going off to I standing in the woods and would tell me that I was 5-7 feet away. the same for the front and back of the green. Furthermore, the screen is very small.

On SGX Skycaddie. First of all, is very strong and has a very nice case and screen protectors. I could not get syncing to work at first. I unplugged and restarted a few times and then synchronized and updated firmware. After that it syncs the first time, every time. He has a very large screen that is easy to read in the sun and the battery goes down about 30% per round. You can easily play 36 holes without a recharge. The GPS is very precise, and functionality intelligreen rotates the green to show the distance from your front and rear half angle of the game. The course I played really important and showed decreases false fronts. The coolest feature is the score keeping and stat tracking. Enter your score and when you synchronize the statistics are uploaded to a web page that you and your friends can see. Very funny.

All in all, the SGX Skycaddie is a large machine that only improve as time goes on and skycaddie updates with new features. I would recommend any other GPS on the market.

I bought UPRO hoping it will help my golf game. However, just two out of the box my computer will not recognize the device UPRO. I returned the unit to Amazon with no hassles from them. However, I spoke with a clerk in a golf shop most important retail. The clerk told me that they had to go abot 6-7 Upros because of defects listed in several of these reviews. Returning to golf retail chain and bought a Garmin and I like to approach. Yes its $ 500. 00, but no monthly fee and fairly easy to use download the update. I know some people complain about the amount of courses, but give him a chance.

I am the son of someone who has this as a gift. I was asked to contribute to this approach because it was having problems. There is a typo in the manual. The first URL installation time that is required for this work is not what is published in the manual and what is published online in the PDF manual.

If you’re on the team product from the company that does this for Callaway, save the son-in-law of world problems and have the URL that is published in the manual redirect to correct page.

At least three of my father in laws companions have returned this product and would even if I had not provided customer service for you.

He had another brand before this. Haveing a GPS that has a lot of big is a big advantage. I play a lot of coarse, with the blind shot. The fly is a great option.
