I would not buy this product again. Received new unit and was defective. One balasts not failed. I had to send back immediately.

This light source helps with mood, but it is very difficult to use when the computer. Glare, even when you turn the light at different angles, wins the monitor screen.

I bought HappyLite the recommendation of my therapist to help with the winter months. I use it all year and seems to help me regulate my sleep cycle. I use it for half an hour in the morning, while checking email. The light is not too hard, but you also should not be to look directly at this. The price has scared me for years, but there are occasional sales at Amazon here (I got mine for $ 149).

bigger than I expected though, this light packs a powerful punch of energy in the morning – and when you go to college in Ithaca, NY, which is certainly necessary in the long winter months. A little ‘pricy – but worth it.

I bought this product for my boyfriend, who gets depressed during the long winters in Chicago. I had been reviewing these for a while ‘, but could not decide on one. One day at work, I noticed that my boss had this model sitting on her file cabinet. She swore by it, so I went with the same one. My boyfriend has never seemed so happy during the winter. He is much more productive and seems to improve sleep too. My only surprise was the size of light, is really great. People with less space should consider a small version.
