I was very excited to purchase and receive the Yamaha DGX-630 88 Full-Sized Keyboard through Amazon.com. I had been looking for a smaller style piano for years, researched a variety of companies on line and through music stores and decided to go with an electric keyboard, since I will be moving into an apartment in a few years. I’m not an accomplished pianist but do enjoy playing classical and religious music for relaxation. This keyboard seems to offer everything plus that I was looking for; 88 weighted keys, variety of sound, recording capabilities, earphone plug-in, variety of computerized music, etc. It should not be compared to a real piano, but to other electronic keyboards – in doing so it is very nice for a middle range unit in quality & price. For beginners and non-professionals this is a fine keyboard. I haven’t spent enough time with it to give a comprehensive review, so I know I have left out quite a bit of what it has to offer. Again, I’m pleased with my purchase and experience with the companies that I dealt with.

Got this instead of real piano. got three little kids so can’t really afford a “real” piano. Got this keyboard for more than six months now. The sounds is better than alot of real piano and I can play at night with low volume when my kids are sleeping. the kids love to play with all kind of different instruments options.

It sounds just as great as real piano, but it’s portable, require no tuning and it’s really way to go for a mom like me with a small living room. =)

We received this keyboard, set it up very easily and began to bang away on it right away. It’s classy, compact yet not small, and has a great tone!

This keybord is complete in itself without expensive attachments. The sound quality is superb, and the range of different voices is amazing (503)! Its ability to record multi-track, multi-voice composition is wonderful, and instructions for the overall functions are simple and understandable. Having trained on the traditional piano, the sound response of the full size, pre-weighted keyboard is very welcome and enjoyable!
